Our friends over at Horse Shepherd Equine Sanctuary (HSES) took in a 16-year-old gelding the RSPCA rescued. He arrived skinny enough to audition for a rib-xylophone, but fast-forward two months and—boom—+70 kg on the scale, thanks to endless grass hay and HSES’s magic “Old Timer” feed mix. Their trainer Elle from Hilltop Horsemanship gave him some pulse therapy and groundwork, and word is Giggles is now the chilliest, handsomest companion horse you could ask for.
